No Christians in Jerusalem before
70AD
Ask yourself, or ask any pastor this question. “Did Jesus “Yeshua” come to start up a new religion called Christianly?
The answer is NO!
All Christianity is a replacement theology of Paul.
There were no Christians in Jerusalem
before 70 AD.
Flavius Josephus the famous Jewish
historian cites there were several Jewish sects. Flavius Josephus dose not
record anything about Christians being in Jerusalem.
The four sects that Flavius Josephus
mentions are the Pharisees, Sadducees, Essenes, and Zealots. (There are also
subsets of the Essenes sect)
The
Pharisees are the Jewish sect that is Torah
“written law” plus oral traditions “Takanot” driven Jews and these are
today’s modern Orthodox Jews. The Pharisees believed that God gave the Jews
both a written Torah and an oral Torah, believe both of which were equally
binding and both of which were open to interpretation by the rabbis, the Jewish
leadership who had sufficient education to make such decisions. (This Jewish
sect was only seeking control over the Jewish people through their Pharisaic
position with no scriptural basis for doing this) The Pharisees teach that the Takanot of the
rabbis is binding and is equal to the written Torah. The Essene sect called the
Pharisees the “sons of darkness” no light (no Torah) within them. What the
Lord, Adonai Yeshua taught about the Pharisees from (Matthew 5:20 "For
I say to you, that unless your righteousness (true Torah observance) exceeds
the righteousness (of Oral traditions teachings) of the scribes and
Pharisees (the Orthodox Jews) you will by no means enter the kingdom of
heaven.) The Orthodox Jews are known
for incorrectly counting the “omer” from the Torah of Leviticus
23:15-16, they also wear white only Tzitzits “tassels” with no blue
thread “Torah teaches to have a blue thread, this from Numbers
15:38” and the Orthodox Jews practice many things contrary to Torah. The
Orthodox Jews teach people away from the studying of the Messiah and don’t
regard Daniel as a prophet of God, odd sense the
Daniel the prophet teaches about the first and second coming of the
Messiah of Israel. A very important topic for everyone and the insights for this
prophecy of the coming Messiah of Israel came directly from the throne room of
God via the angel Gabriel to Daniel. Adonai Yeshua regarded Daniel as a prophet
of God, see Matthew
24:15. The Pharisees,
today’s “Orthodox Jews” wrote the Masoretic text which in parts was re
written to take away from Messianic expectations as compared with the Dead Sea
Scrolls which was written before the Masoretic text came into place of the
Orthodox Jews.
The
Sadducees were the rich ruling class of the
Jewish people,. evolved out of Hellenistic Judaism. They were religiously
conservative but socially liberal. The Sadducees believed in a strict, narrow
and unchanging interpretation of the written Torah, and they did not believe in
oral Torah. The Temple and its sacrificial services were at the center of their
worship.
The Essenes were a sect of Second
Temple period times that flourished from the 2nd century BCE to the 1st century
CE. The Essenes took their devotion to God seriously. The Essenes lived in
various cities but congregated in communal life, lived in voluntary poverty,
engaged in immersion practices “mikvah”, “being born again.” (See
remarks made to Nicodemus by Adonai Yeshua John
3:1-36 and about being “born again a new dedicated to God as a Torah
observant person” and baptism practices. Nicodemus, Nakdimon
ben Gurion, also known as Buni was
a Pharisee and a student of all the sects was the one of the top richest man in
all Jerusalem and also happen to be the
brother of “Flavius Josephus” Josephus ben Gorion. This Essene sect also
practiced abstinence from worldly pleasures, including (for some) celibacy which
is to abstain from marriage. They shared and taught for the hopes of the
expectations of the coming Messiah of Israel.
Josephus records that Essenes existed in large numbers and thousands
lived throughout Roman Judea. The Essenes recently gained fame in modern times
from the discovery of an extensive library of documents known as the Dead Sea
Scrolls. These documents include preserved multiple copies of the Hebrew Bible
untouched from as early as 300 BCE until their discovery in 1947. Also
discovered with the Dead Sea Scrolls were letters from Yeshua brother James the
Just and head of the Jerusalem church and James rejected Paul of Tarsus as an
apostate from the law. James called Paul a “spouter of lies” this from
research by Dr. Robert
H. Eisenman. Also some Ebionites alleged
that Paul was a Greek who converted to Judaism in order to marry the daughter of
a high priest of Israel but apostatized when she rejected him. The Ebionites
would be considered a subset of the Essene sect of Judaism. The Essenes called
themselves the “sons of light” (True Torah observance) also see John
12:36 and Luke
16:8. Torah is considered “the light” to light the path for a proper
walk with God, Psalm
119:105 The Essene considered the Pharisees and the Sadducees “the sons of
darkness” who had broken covenant with God. The sons of darkness is the group
who had brought up false charges against Adonai Yeshua and put Him to death.
Interesting enough “the rich ruler Nicodemus” never brought
up any charges against Adonai Yeshua and even stood up for Yeshua, see John
7:50-52 and even helped in the post recovery of Yeshua dead body along with Joseph
of Arimathea. John
19:38-42. Nicodemais name means “innocent of blood.” Nicodemus, being financially blessed of the Lord, was responsible
“paying for” the supplying water to pilgrims at festivals “the feasts of
the Lord, found in Leviticus 23.”
The
Zealots
"agree in all other things with the Pharisaic notions; but they have an
inviolable attachment to liberty, and say that God is to be their only Ruler and
Lord." The Zealots were originally a political movement of the 1st century
Second Temple Judaism which sought to incite the people of Judaea Province to
rebel against the Roman Empire and expel it from the Holy land by force of arms,
most notably during the Great Jewish Revolt (66-70). The zealots have been
described as one of the first examples of the use of terrorism. The term
"zealot", in Hebrew kanai (קנאי, frequently
used in plural form, קנאים (kana'im), means one
who is zealous on behalf of God.
The Zealots had the leading role in the Jewish Revolt of 66. They succeeded in
taking over Jerusalem, and held it until 70, when the son of Roman Emperor
Vespasian, Titus, retook the city and destroyed Herod's Temple during the
destruction of Jerusalem. (The destruction of the Temple was prophesized by
Yeshua with His famous “Olivet Discourse” Matthew
24:1-2 The reason for the
Temples destruction was a form of judgment from God for not knowing the hour of
the Lord’s visitation, of the first coming of the Messiah of Israel as we read
from Luke
19:44. The judgments of God are for not being Torah observant and are found
in the Torah. (Leviticus
26:19 I will break the pride of your
power) The pride of power for the Pharisees and the Sadducees “sons of
darkness” was the Temple. Breaking the power of your pride can also mean
economic judgments for people and for nations. Torah has never been done away
with as many false prophet teachers teach and will be judged for doing so.
Matthew 24:35 "Heaven and earth
will pass away, but My words (Torah) will by no means pass away.
Mark 13:31"Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words (Torah) will by no
means pass away.
Luke 16:17"And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one
tittle of the law to fail.
Luke 21:33"Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words (Torah) will by no
means pass away.
Yeshua
is the fulfillment of the prophecy from (Deuteronomy 18:15 "The LORD your
God will raise up for you a Prophet like
me (the Lord) from your midst,) from your brethren. Him you shall hear.)
Adonai
Yeshua is also the Aleph and Tav found in Torah and elsewhere in the Takanah
“old Testament.” Yeshua also spoke about Him being the Alpeh and Tav from
Revelation
Revelation 1:8 "I am the Alpha and the Omega, (the Aleph and the Tav)
the Beginning and the End," says the Lord, "who is and who was
and who is to come, the Almighty."
Revelation 21:6 And He said to me, "It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of
the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts.
Revelation 22:13 "I am the Alpha and
the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last."
In Zechariah 12;10 and in Revelation
we read about the Lord being the one whom they pierced. (Crucified)
Zechariah 12:10 "And I will pour
on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace
and supplication; then they will look on
Me (the Lord) whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns
for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn.
Revelation 1:7 Behold, He (the Lord)
is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even
they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of
Him. Even so, Amen.
What
started the clock for the second coming of the Messiah of Israel
is from Daniel the prophet is when the Jews recaptured Jerusalem for a second
time on June 7th 1967. Daniel
9:25 Add the “seven weeks” of years broken down into days, (prophetic
days) then add that to June 7th 1967 and it comes out to Yom Kippur
2015 to the very day. See

We are commanded to know these things
and to be eager, to be ready for the
Lord’s second coming. Those who are truly being Torah observant know these
things; those who are not truly being Torah observant will be caught unaware and
they will be judged accordingly see ( Matthew
24:44-52 “and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the
hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth”) Always
be Torah observant or you will suffer for not being Torah observant! Are you
keeping all the feasts of the Lord on the actual days appointed for these
events?
Matthew 24:44 "Therefore you
also be ready, for the Son of Man is
coming at an hour you do not expect.
Matthew 24:45 "Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master
made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season?
Matthew 24:46 "Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he comes, will
find so doing.
Matthew 24:47 "Assuredly, I say to you that he will make him ruler over all
his goods.
Matthew 24:48 "But if that evil
servant says in his heart, 'My master is delaying his coming,'
Matthew 24:49 "and begins to beat his fellow servants, and to eat and drink
with the drunkards,
Matthew 24:50 "the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not
looking for him and at an hour that he is not aware of,
Matthew 24:51 "and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the
hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
