Prescott, Arizona TV pilot and related information and opportunity offer listed below.

(See info below at)  Prescott, AZ  "My Arizona days" TV pilot project, timeless, affordable, great location, close to the So Cal coast and more!

First some of my reflections of Prescott, Arizona.

Some of my Arizona days memorabilia

Plaque of appreciation for ten years of volunteer service with the Yavapai County Sheriff Office SAR, with the Sheriff's Jeep Posse.

I also coordinated and installed the first dedicated SAR "search and rescue"  communications repeater for  the county for use by all SAR teams of that county.

I hold an extra class license and have owned several UHF communications repeaters with remote bases while living in Northern Arizona . I also supported and worked with the ARES/RACES group through Yavapai county emergency management who facilitated the repeater site on Mt Union for the dedicated SAR repeater. I had served as the project coordinator for that particular SAR repeater. Our SAR group is called the Yavapai County Sheriff Jeep Posse which is an all volunteer org with over 50's in operation for the Yavapai County Sheriff Office. I worked with Sheriff "Buck" Buchanan, who is great leader and big supporter of the Jeep Posse SAR. Thanks so much  Buck for all your support. Also thanks to Don Franklin who has passed away now and thanks to Jimmy Grimm, a past captain of the Jeep Posse and a retired captain with the US Army. Also big thanks to former captain and friend Mel Oliverson, a great blessing a  big help and supporter. Also thanks to Michael Pagent from Great Britain for all his help with COMM and with training. Hey Mike, I need another motorcycle want to sell me back my old motorcycle:)   Also to Chuck Gardiner, Jeep Posse now living near Cordes Jct, AZ. Also thanks to Dick Myers (retired FBI)

I would  like to thank a good friend Steve Crumley WB7BYV who helped out much with that particular SAR repeater project and Steve is also the one who sponsored me to join up with CRC, Cactus Radio Club,  which is a very large armature radio club here on the west coast. (am looking for a donation for my So Cal dues) The Prescott area SAR repeater located on the highest peak located Yavapai county at over 8000 ft. has been a great blessing for SAR use even to this day.

I also trained with our local ARES/RACES while living in Prescott, Arizona. Thanks Lloyd Halgunseth WA6ZZJ for all your help and support over the years.

Also at times I served as Chaplin for the Jeep Posse.

The Yavapai Sheriff Jeep Posse is a highly trained SAR unit. We would also have various seasonal duties through out the year to go along with our regular SAR duties.

In the Spring time we would practice fire evacuation drills for the summer fire season. There are numerous kids camps in the area plus various communities back in the woods.

I only encountered one real fire evacuation during my tenure with Sheriff Jeep Posse. That was the "Indian Fire" of May 15th 2002. The winds had been howling for weeks on end till this particular day of  a fire deep in the woods south of town. The howling winds had stopped for no apparent reason. If the winds had continued blowing that day it was feared that a good part of the town of Prescott would have burned up. God's favor was upon us that day and spared the mile high city of Prescott. During my teams part of the evacuation of homes for the Indian fire. The fire had jumped  hwy 89 and we were cut off from our mobile command station and our primary escape route. This was a shocker to our team and showed us how fast that fire was really moving along.  Forest Service Hot Shot crews from all over the Southwest came to Prescott to help contain the Indian fire. I would also like to thank a friend Ed Hollenshed of the Prescott National Forest Service for his brilliant fore thought in the forming of PAWUIC, Prescott Area Wild land Urban Interface Commission. I got to know Ed Hollenshead through the Bible College we attended at and also worked with Ed on occasion as a Forest Service resource through the Sheriff's office. Last heard  Ed Hollenshead, is the director, Fire and Aviation Management, USDA Forest Service, Pacific Southwest Region. The various business owners of Prescott pulled together and had pitch in greatly by supporting all fire crews, Hot Shot fire crews from all over the South West, law enforcement, National Guards and other various volunteers by providing all with free sandwiches, free pizza, free bottled water and anything else we needed. The people of  Prescott are a very friendly and supportive community that live there, everyone waves to one another, wheather you know them or not,  that is just a norm for the Prescott area and for much of Arizona. Try waving at someone there and see for yourself.

This is a short video about the  Indian Creek fire of May 15th 2002 that almost destroyed Prescott, AZ. The winds had been howling for weeks on end till that day! God spared Prescott. We are greatly for all Yeshua's mercies!

During the winter months with a heavy snow going on we would often drive nurses and other health care professionals as a Jeep Posse courtesy service to and from the local hospital which I also happen to work at the Yavapai Regional Medical Center, mostly in the ER dept dealing with combative patients and related situations. I give thanks to all the great night shift  nursing supervisors that I have enjoyed working with over the years.  Having been part of SAR for ten years there I now know most all of the back roads and forest roads there like the back of my hand. Lots of great camping  back there in the woods of Northern Arizona too. I have been to a lot of very remote locations in Northern Arizona.

Below is a pix where I made the front page of the local newspaper "Preparing for disaster" when I lived in Northern Arizona for ten years before moving back to my original home town of Newport Beach, California where now I am a "law man" of Torah for Adonai Yeshua.

Yavapai County Sheriff Jeep Posse promo video

Prescott is also home to world's oldest rodeo. There are many many ranches in the area. Also most of your early westerns, westerns with Tom Mix and many other movies have been filmed right there in Prescott. There is a lot of history there in Prescott which is pounced Press-kit.  Several celebrities, noted actors and other people of notoriety have homes there in the area or have lived or have retired there in Prescott. The air is so pristine in Northern Arizona that many with respiratory problems often move there for a breath of real fresh air. The Sharlot Hall museum has lots of insights about Prescott. The Western life style was very agreeable with me when I lived there. Ye ha! And most everyone there is packing "carrying a fire arm" as a norm! Stats show that an armed society is also a polite society. You will also see most everyone there wave to one another as a norm as well. Try it next time when your in the area. Here's to waving at all my friends there in Northern Arizona and best blessings of Yeshua!  Prescott is an old Yavapai Indian word which means "we don't have it here, you have to go to Phoenix" for those who have lived in Prescott you know what I am talking about. 3/4 of the population of Arizona lives in the Phoenix area. Developers please stay away from N AZ, lets keep N AZ a nice place for what it is!

Live Work Play in Prescott (voice over by Toni Tennille, Prescott resident with her husband Daryl, of Captain and Tennille fame )

Noted people who have lived in and around the Prescott area,  Richard Nixon, Billy the kid, Clint Eastwood, Buckey O'Neill of the Rough Riders, Sean Connery, Denzel Washington, Tom Mix, James Arness of Gun Smoke fame and founder of Prescott college a liberal arts school which I call and others do too "tree hugger central" and other note worthy people as well. An article in the AZ Republic newspaper stated that Prescott, AZ had more Millionaires per capita than most big cities. A lot of movies, mostly westerns have been shot in and around the Prescott area including Junior Bonner with Steve McQueen and also Billy Jack, here is a clip with classic footage of the Court House Square, Prescott also is home to the Worlds Oldest Rodeo (video), still held each year. I have yet to win the calf roping event, though I do enjoy smart quarter horse. Watching the cowgirls barrel race is such a hoot. Everyone needs to come and see the Worlds Oldest Rodeo, held over the 4th of July, make your reservations early for a room and there is always lots of great camping in the area. Prescott is so festive during this time, also lots of things to see and do in the area like visit the Grand Canyon and more.

New York City Mayor Richard Fiorello La Guardia. 99th Mayor of New York City He moved to Arizona with his family, where his father had a bandmaster position at Fort Whipple in the U.S. Army. LaGuardia attended public schools and high school in Prescott, Arizona. His father was discharged from his bandmaster position in 1898. There is a bridge in town named La Guardia Bridge which is very near a  nice park there. There is still a classic band standing there at the Court House downtown square at Prescott.

Weather there is great at 5000 ft and why Prescott is called  "the mile high city" It has best pristine air quality to be  found anywhere, all of N-AZ has pristine air quality. Winters are mild. It may snow but melts off pretty fast in a day or two. The Monsoon "rainy" season runs from 4th of July till the first or second week of September and this why you see the very high curbs at downtown Prescott. Spectacular lightning shows occur during the monsoon season. I was living in Prescott at the time it received over 8 inches of rain in one night and it washed out the city water main to the city, power was out for a day. Phone services stayed up and running. The Arizona National Guard had to truck in water for a week before normal water services was restored. That was an educational experience. Not being able to flush your toilet or wash dishes etc for a week. On my return to Prescott to live in in 1996, I had prepped the home there  for as an end time cabin hide away, yet the location was very close to town,  I had a home at 6000ft and sat on hill top property, on "P" mountain, also called Badger Mtn  at 214 N. Chisholm Trail, Prescott, It has the best views in Prescott ever. And I have lived in several places there in Prescott. The property had an acre of land and its own well that pumped 30gallons per minute, that is a nearly a commercial grade well. Water was hard at 10 grains but easily treatable with a soft water gear. The property backed up to the Prescott National forest and in essence was my back yard. There is an official hiking trail nearby called the Turley Trail and  is very nearby the home at the end of Wells Fargo Rd  and  is popular day hiking trail, has a  large parking area and gate, just open the gate and park. (It is reported that the Poland brothers, Michael and Patrick who  robbed an armored van of $288000 in May of 1977, hide part of their loot somewhere along the Turley Trail area and is yet to be discovered, true story) There are some nearby abandon mines up along some of  the trails. As walk along the Turley Trail you can explore inside one of the abandoned mines if you have a flash light. Inside the mine it splits in two directions,. I often wanted to place a geocaching inside that mine, perhaps someday or someone else can do that. Prescott was working on the great circle trail around the entire town, most of it is now completed. Here is list of trails in the Prescott area. I often enjoyed hiking  the trail around Thumb Butte. There was a local Yavapai Indian who use to train along the Turley Trail, he use to practice  up for the Man vs. Horse Race that takes place each year along  Mingus Mt going out on highway 89A. Its a 22 mile race. I have worked as a check point radio operator and water and food station a top Mingus Mtn for that Man vs. Horse race event many times,  The runners craved water and  Tylenol. I enjoyed my race station a top Mingus Mountain which was very near the Mingus Mtn Camp grounds some sites have full hook ups, there is a nice picnic table overlooking the entire Verde Valley from up there. There is also a huge BBQ for all after the Man vs. Horse event at Fain Ranch, this where the race begins and ends, with live country music, its a hoot! The famous mining and ghost town and tourist attraction of Jerome sits on the North Side of Mingus. Mingus Mountain  is basically hollow, they took a lot of copper out of it. There is natural cave at the top of Mingus Mountain if your into spelunking and know where to go to. You can cow trail, take your vehicle along dirt Forest Service roads, all the way from Williams to Jerome and to all sorts of places, even to Cleator (just a bar now in the middle of nowhere, a ghost town). I enjoy cow trailing and enjoy taking the back roads up to Crown King for lunch, a neat old general store is there and to Palace Station (just a watering station for the stagecoach days) and back down to Prescott along Senator Hwy. Also going out to Childs Power Station is fun and there is also nearby is natural “small and very dirty (bring your own chlorine bleach)” hot spring there along the Verde River there (Cicada bugs can be heard buzzing loudly in background of that video, we also know its summer time). I know all the Forest Service roads, ranch roads and other dirt roads in the area like the back of my hand from days of being a part of SAR with the Yavapai County Sheriff volunteer SAR for 10 years. I often still enjoy going camping out near the Williams area, lots of cool pine trees there and various camp sites to go to and just relax and often I go to Coleman Lake south of town, take 4th street which becomes Count Rd 73 (Perkinsville Rd) a fun drive which can take you to Jerome"video" (A lot of bikers go there on the weekend. I enjoy playing pool there and also enjoy having dinner there with incredible views of Sedona, and a great place to watch the Arizona Monsoons roll through) , its cow trailing via Perkinsville (video) or turn and head west to  Drake at Hwy 89 (They mine a lot of Flagstone near Drake.) At the woods and campgrounds around Williams during the breeding season male elk emit bugle calls all night long (Wonder what they are saying to the females?) Dogtown Reservoir(video) and White Horse Lake are popular camp grounds there as well. Williams is a neat little town, various events are going on there all the time and Williams is the gateway to the Grand Canyon and offers the historic train ride to the Grand Canyon from downtown Williams. I often I enjoy a meal at the Pine Country restaurant when I am in the area. I have a put together a things to see and do when at Williams page   Also get yourself a subscription to Arizona Highways Magazine, (has impressive photos and Arizona stories) there is no place on earth like Arizona. I have been entertaining offering Arizona Territory Guide Services, it can get very remote at times, western wear is a must, possibly wild critters to contend with and more stars at a night than you can ever count and ya gotta have a practical pocket  knife, this learned from all my SAR and camping days in AZ.  I use the (Gerber EZ out Skelton plain, model:  GE06701) Go & visit my friend "big" Steve Morgan and his wife Shelly at their knife store the Knife Factory in Prescott Valley, they enjoy doing ministry outreach as well. Also  please send me an email, click here, if you’re interested or if just want to share any comments or reflect on any part of my Arizona days stories. Please simply come to Arizona, to visit, to play, to live and to create your own Arizona days stories.   Did I mention I was part of Arizona Near Space Research and participated in a recovery mission out near Winslow at Chevron Butte, the team used a rubber chicken as its mascot, the team leader and friend, Jack W7JLC (Satellite builder) who appreciated my APRS packet radio skills. I have made many APRS radio contacts with the International Space Station ISS when flying over, this from my home in Prescott and now from Newport Beach, CA, that's another Arizona story I can share at some other time. See my ISS reflections on FB. Also when I lived there in Prescott, I had  hosted several UHF remote bases (repeaters) and belong to many ham clubs in the area, including SARBA, ARA,  Motorola ARC of Scottsdale, the Yavapai, the Verde Valley and the Williams radio clubs and was part of ARES/RACES of Yavapai and still stay in RF contact (that is to say via radio) with many friends there from where I now live along the coast of  Southern California, mostly on UHF and 900 MHz and enjoy text messaging via APRS packet radio. Give me a radio call at KB6TWC if you have your license, its so easy to get your ham license  these days.  Kids and adults too, get your ham license its a ton of fun and great practical knowledge. One requirement, you have to be FRIENDLY!  J   .

At my home there up a top "P" Mtn, I had also built a detached brick garage with full bath, on the east end of it held the well house with a 2000 gallon water storage tank. I built it for the purpose of  housing various homeless people and did so over the years. I had housed a homeless people when living in So Cal and wanted to continue doing the same in Northern AZ. I just need a detached garage with a full bath. Here are pixs of "homeless Bob" Pix 1 as I had first met him and Pix 2 Bob eating his favorite food, hot dogs and ketchup, this in the detached garage that I had fixed up. Homeless Bob stayed a winter, about 6 month of time in the detached garage. Bob wanted to work and tried, because there is s no normal public bus transpiration there like we enjoy in So Cal and other urban areas. This had put a huge damper on Bob easily finding steady work and opted to seek a life in Reno where he had some family ties. I was able to get an optometrist friend of mine there, Dr. Steven M. Meyers, O.D. of Rummel Eye Care of Prescott to do free eye exam for Bob and the Lions club there donated for the cost of the glasses. Homeless Bob freaked out! He constantly kept exclaiming. “I can see again!” Yeshua is good to everyone! Matthew 11:5 "The blind see and the lame walk; the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear; the dead are raised up and the poor have the gospel preached to them.

Sense I also hold a commercial pilots license I really get a kick out watching of that  old 1950's show "Sky King" on YT, fun drama and dialog, very western flavor of Arizona, good guys, bad guys, the Sheriff, horses, jeeps, guns (packing guns is an Arizona norm for its citizens, everyone packs there, mostly concealed) The Sky King show has the makings of classic western drama.

Prescott, AZ  "My Arizona days" TV pilot project, timeless, affordable, great location, close to the So Cal coast and more!

I could write a book of my Arizona days if some top respected publisher wanted to get in touch with me. If you are, then see my contact info provided towards the bottom of the directory page.  Maybe a TV pilot ?  I use to work for GMT Studios, Culver City, CA, for a short bit and enjoy the production process, that's another story, see my Hotel California ministry page. A lot of movies and westerns have been filmed in the Prescott area over many years. Greatest backdrop, friendliest, kindest, caring people, in a very western venue. Lots of smart constructive stories to be to told. Possibly a counter part to "The OC", with SAR, the Sheriff, the Forest Service, big ranches (Historic and famous West Fork of Peepless Valley (which is actually a counterpart of the "Dallas" television series, Southfork Ranch) and hosts its annual Yavapai Cattle Grower’s Association Calf Sale & BBQ ) Peepless Valley is neat area (its in the low- mountains but not too far of a drive from Phoenix, for those who crave big city things, 3/4 of the population of Arizona lives in Phoenix.) Some parts of the nearby town of Yarnell offers spectacular views of the desert floor below. The Arizona mind set is fiercely "Independent" regarding many things, for people to be self sufficient, not for government dependence and oppressive rules, yet the people of Arizona will pull together as a community. There is all the rancher's politics, other community politics, colorful characters from the early days like Doc Holiday and Bucky O'Neil and others, gold miners, gamblers and others of the past could be juxtaposition with colorful characters of today in the Prescott area.  It is also a small college town, with several colleges and a noted Aeronautical University, that produces 25% of the commercial airline pilots, produces astronauts, military pilots and others in their related studies, professor William D. Waldock of ERAU has appeared on the Discovery Channel. (Prescott has an effect upon the world whether people know this or not, yet its still just a very small western town that is very blessed by God) Its been reported there are more millionaires per capita in Prescott then in Newport and most anywhere ( I was born and raised in Newport, I know it better than "the OC" ever will, from the fake rich to the genuine well to do people of Newport who  generously gives back to its community) A former astronaut has lived there in Prescott, a Supreme Court Justice has a home there, a famous state Senator and noted war veteran lives in Sedona and this is all just typical of the Prescott areas, which is pronounced "Press-kit",  the small town community with a big western heart, with lots of constructive stories to be shared.  Have Jerry Ryan get a hold me, she would look fantastic dressed up in cowgirl western attire.  I often shared Arizona is a "dishwater blonde" this as a compliment. (For those concerned with the numbers, Arizona is a "right to work" state, means, no person can be compelled to join a union. Here is the Arizona Film Commission directory with a listing in Prescott)  Prescott is a very short flight from the CA coast when flown directly.  If you go through Phoenix via (Sky Harbor) then it takes much longer and you might as well drive it. It takes up 6 hours of time either way, by driving or by going via  Sky Harbor at Phoenix. On the better hand there is a nice reputable aviation facility at Prescott called Legend Aviation and also owns the pilot shop "Arizona Aviation Supplies, the owner of both has had a very successful Hollywood production background and chose to semi-retire there in Prescott. I have a very good friend who works at Legend Aviation and also has a side biz of buying, importing, refitting and selling Mig training Jets, the L-39 Albatros to a former astronaut and to other noted people.  Flying directly to Prescott Airport (video) is "mo better", no TSA to put up with (when utilizing  private aircraft) and truly saves a lot of commute time. (Then its only a 1 to 2 hour commute, depending on type of aircraft utilized) You would have to charter your own plane or private jet services, those kind of services are found at most airports. Or with your own smart attorneys, form your own private air charter services perhaps call it "Celebrity Air" per say, lots of resource online for doing this, again all of this with no suffering of the TSA at airports. The government is using suffering of the TSA  program as way to get the public to accept the possible coming retinal scanning "iris scanning" as a form of  ID.

The Hassayampa GATED community with security staff, located in Prescott is also home to Sean Connery, Denzel Washington and other noted people with a private golf course and incredible club house for entertaining. Driving distance is approximately 385 miles from the So Cal coast.  Prescott is reported and researched to be one of the top safest places to live in the US in the advent of a nuclear attack, the world is now poised and gearing up for WWIII (listen do Dr. Paul Craig Roberts former editor of the Wall Street Journal and Regan ear economic advisor speak on this WM audio or MP3 audio 2 minutes that will change your life ) So having a second home and production operations going on there in Prescott, AZ could provide additional personal justifications for moving there, also tax write offs etc for the need of having a second home and operations there in Prescott. I have a WWIII - Economics Trends page on this site, the world is quickly moving towards WWIII, a proven fact.  FYI:  I have copyright protected my concepts and related things here copyright1.jpg. Am just looking for the right people to work with. Those sincerely interested please contact me. I don’t have any spare time to waste on entertaining posers or want a be types. I am from "the OC", I also have been around, know the scams. And mostly I enjoy maintaining my genuine concern and love for the people of Prescott and its surrounding communities. I might have been born at night but it wasn’t last night. Bring your own funding. Also send me an email if interesting in the need for expert  local Prescott area guide services, bar none! Tailored made just for your needs, concerns and time constraints.

My Prescott areas resources list, Printable :  motels, rent car, private jet services, public airline service, my personal RE agent there and more!

Strong word of warning, leave the West Hollywood types behind. Lots great nice people and nice families there in the Prescott areas who need work, who love God know what God designed as an ”exit only." They are not tolerant there at all and the cowboys there et al often enjoy educating those types, that they are at wrong location and to better move along on quickly. The Bible refers to the Sodom and Gomorrah types as dogs. Dogs is a term for people without souls. Dogs have no "discernment", they lick their own balls, sniff another dog's butt and eats its own vomit. No dogs allowed!  The Lord Yeshua taught that areas that are gay tolerant will be judged beyond measure during the days of judgments that we are now in. (Matthew 10:15"Assuredly, I say to you, it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that city!) President Obama recently announced publicly that he is pro gay. Is Obama and his Obama supporters trying to bring God's judgments upon our nation? By the statistics everyone knows who voted in Obama as president, so it is easy to spot an Obama supporter (do your own homework) Some cowboys there have a saying "Vengeance is Mine says the Lord, and I am just doing the Lord's will, by keeping all His laws and commandments." Quoting from (Deuteronomy 32:35 Vengeance is Mine, and recompense; Their foot shall slip in due time; For the day of their calamity is at hand, And the things to come hasten upon them.') Deuteronomy 7:9 "Therefore know that the LORD your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments;

One more clip, circa 1929, "things you ought to know about Prescott", by Hollywood director F. M. Tisdale

Clint Eastwood is reported to have a second home, ranch acreage out east of Chino Valley, AZ,  along Williams Valley Rd going towards Hootenanny Holler (love that name) an area very west Chino Valley. There is a street out that way called " W Clint Eastwood Ln" he might have developed it and is reported to have been scene shopping at the Chino Valley True Value hardware store. ( I much prefer living in Prescott, its much cooler in the summer time and not so windy like Chino Valley is year round.)

Tom Selleck is reported to own property out near Chino? Why? He was  reported too have been scene having breakfast at the Green Frog Restaurant in Chino, lets just hope that  he was just attending gun training classes out there at Gunsite.  I lived in Prescott and enjoy teasing my friends of  Chino Valley with various Chino Valley jokes.

The Chino Valley area  is very windy year round, great for getting off the electrical grid with wind generators. Chino Valley is also major  horse property and people there have to dig deep for a well water. Chino Valley is sort of like an affordable Norco, CA which is also a horse property community. Chino Valley is bit of commute from Prescott. Guess having all them windy days at Chino Valley is a good thing if your own horse property there.  J     Again I also offer guide services and knowledge advisements for those areas. Lots of 40 acre parcels of land to be had if you ever wanted to pursue starting up your own "Iron Gate" studio facility.  The area of Congress , AZ may be a better situated of an area for ever setting up an "iron gate" full blown studio facility,  reported to have great water there and not to far of a drive from Phoenix yet close to Prescott. The weather is mostly sunny there at Congress, AZ and no snow.  There is a hospital and an airport at the nearby town of Wickenburg.  The town of Congress sits at the bottom of mountain on the desert floor, just below Yarnell (at the top) with its spectral views and much cooler mountain temperatures  during the summer time. Great views from Yarnell, this only from view property, for viewing the summer monsoon season (July 4th though first week of September.)

Northern Arizona almost became Hollywood, this before Hollywood was invented.

Few are as famous and successful as Hollywood's first motion picture businessmen, Cecil B. DeMille, Samuel Goldwyn and Louis Mayer

The three men started making motion pictures.  They loved working in the movie business. They were deeply interested in its creative and financial possibilities. DeMille, Lasky and Goldfish began working on a movie version of the popular American western play, "Squaw Man." DeMille urged that the movie be made in the real American West so he chose Northern, Arizona as a possible venue location. DeMille and the company traveled east by train to Northern Arizona. When they arrived, it was raining extremely hard and DeMille got back on the train and keep going until they reached the end of the line which was a quiet little town in southern California. The town was called Hollywood. DeMille decided this was the perfect place to film the movie “Squaw Man" was one of the first full-length movies produced in Hollywood. It was released in nineteen thirteen and was an immediate success. DeMille is considered the man who helped Hollywood become the center of the motion picture business

"Prescott, Everybody's Hometown"  I had at one time worked as armed security for the County Court House, a center piece and icon for Prescott. I am a Gunsite trained back in the days when Jeff Cooper had own it.. By employment, I had at one time, all the keys for two of the most sensitive areas of the city Prescott, the county court house and YRMC hospital. I have more finger print cards on file with the FBI then most people do, this for security clearance purposes.

Regarding Sheriff Joe Arpaio who I appreciate the all guts that he has for a tough job. When I worked as a special deputy "a volunteer” for 10 years with the Yavapai County Sheriff’s office with their Sheriffs Jeep Posse we sometimes would work with Sheriff Joe Arpaio and his deputies. Recalling a particular search we did near Sheep Bridge Crossing, along the Verde River, that location is in the middle of fringing nowhere and that particular situation turned into a possible homicide, lots news copters were above in the sky that day, mostly because it is such a remote location. I was also asked set up a LZ (Landing Zone using orange flagging tape) near the search site, mostly for DPS Ranger helicopter use but lots of news copters landed on that LZ that I had taped out as well. I had rode shotgun that day to the search site in a Hummer H1 that belonged to a good friend Chuck Gardiner. Our SAR group efforts found the missing woman dead in a very rough canyon under some bushes. Highly suspicious, like she was hiding from someone. The missing woman weighed so much, a very heavy gal indeed; they had to hoist her carcass out by rope, dangling from the DPS Ranger helicopter from that canyon. We also did other related support for Joe Arpaio over the years.  (Must see pixs of Sheep’s Bridge crossing interesting bridge, very remote.  Pictures of Sheep Bridge Crossing   I like Joe Arpaio! He is a no nonsense kind of guy, a very effective leader. Most all AZ Sheriffs are great to work with. Joe Arpaio is for sure one them. Best blessings to friend Sheriff "Buck" Buchanan YCSO and to Sheriff Richard Mack author of “The County Sheriff: America's Last Hope." Most all your Arizona Sheriff are gun rights advocates and know that crime goes down when citizens are armed. In recent legislation the average law abiding citizen of Arizona can now carry a concealed weapon "legally." Arizona residents at least 21 years old can carry a concealed weapon without a permit. Can your state boast of this? Why not? Do something! Gov. Jan Brewer signed Senate Bill 1108 into law. Copy this bill and have your state pass it. Arizona joins Vermont and Alaska in not requiring such permits. "If you want to carry concealed, and you have no criminal history, you are a good guy, you can do it, carry concealed" (Do your own homework regarding various states gun laws) I am all for all woman getting fire arms training and their CCW if need be, this is why.

Would also like to mention and say hello to Carol Springer, famous Phoenix DJ and Arizona personality bar none. I knew Carol as very small town girl and DJ before God blessed her life with much success. Carol shared with me long ago that “Prescott” the small town she is from, is an old Indian word that means, “We don’t have it here, you have to go to Phoenix to get it.”  Carol is a friend and shared with me on FB she now lives in Queen Creek area, which is South East Phoenix with her girls. Here is a clip of Carol doing what she enjoys doing best, just being herself.    YT clip of Carol Springer

FYI: Carol's mother also named Carol Springer served as state treasurer of Arizona from January 1999 until January 2003. A Republican, she was elected in November 1998. Carol Springer Sr. served as an Arizona State Senator for District 1 between 1990 and 1998. She ran in the 2002 gubernatorial primary election as a Republican. In 2005 she assumed the position of Yavapai County Supervisor. Also known for her RE business in Prescott. Carol Springer Sr. had also dated Sam Steiger for a long while. Sam Steiger is another colorful character of Prescott. Sam, former mayor is known for things and a popular story of him is for re-painting the cross walk between the Court House Square and Whiskey Row. As a result of the May 2, 1986 incident, Sam Steiger was arrested and charged with criminal damage and disorderly conduct.  He was acquitted by the jury after they had deliberated for 25 minutes. There are lots of Prescott stories to be told.
